Our vision is for Perth to be a city where heritage places are respected, well conserved and maintained, by an informed and engaged community that values and celebrates heritage for the contribution it makes to Perth’s ‘sense of place’. A city where heritage and history is accessible to all audiences.
As part of our Learning & Engagement Programme we have developed a strategy document. The purpose of this document is reflect on our past successes and to detail a 3-year forward plan of how we will work with various audiences. Heritage Perth has demonstrated itself as an invaluable asset and its importance will grow by embracing this forward plan.
During 2016-2018, we will work to sustain existing audiences through encouraging them to participate in our events and projects, and involving them as volunteers. In consultation with new and existing audiences, we will develop a creative and engaging suite of outreach and digital learning activities and develop new projects and activities.
The priorities for each of our audience programme areas are outlined in our Learning & Engagement Policy and Forward Plan.
