Fire and Emergency Services Education and Heritage Centre is located in the Old Central Fire Station on the corner of Irwin and Murray Street. On display will be the ‘rarely’ seen collection of vintage fire appliances and children can even take a ride on a vintage fire engine, explore the All-Hazards gallery that focuses on the elements of fire (bushfire and structure fire) and water (flood, tsunami, storm surge and water rescue). There will also be fire safety games, dress ups and colouring in for the kids.
