Open Day

Take a look around one of Perth’s most magnificent houses, the home of the Governor of WA. The Governor of Western Australia and Mrs McCusker invite you to visit Government House and its beautiful gardens at the annual spring Open Day, in support of Heritage Perth’s ‘Heritage Days’.

Themed “Now & Then: (Re)Discover Government House”, visitors are invited to (re)discover the old, and experience the new, at Perth’s premier heritage site with a self-guided tour.

Take a self-guided tour and explore the grand Ballroom and wander through the majestic Dining Room.

There is lot’s to do and see including ballroom dancing display, music and cultural performances, an animal farm and seed planting.

A multicultural food fair will provide a gastronomic celebration of the many cultures living in our Western Australian community, and delicious Devonshire Teas will be served in the newly-appointed Supper Room.
