The exciting new look exhibition Black Swan Prize for Portraiture and the Black Swan Prize for Heritage is open to the public now.

Heritage Perth is extremely excited to have partnered with the Black Swan Prize to present the inaugural Black Swan Prize for Heritage ‘Portrait of a City’ competition. For this competition heritage is defined as “Those things from the past which are valued enough today to save for the people of tomorrow”.

The exhibition can be found in the stunningly renovated Old Technical School on St Georges Terrace. This dedicated gallery space is the perfect location to showcase the finalists work that have been submitted by some of Australia’s most creative artists.

The exhibition is open until 1 October and visitors can vote for the People’s Choice Award in the Heritage Prize until that time. A $2 gold coin donation will help raise funds for ARTrisnic Youth Workshops. It is free entry so pop along and let us know what you think.
