Perth Technical School was the location for first tertiary educational activity in the state. Now a stunningly renovated art gallery, it features a majestic entrance and staircase, high ceilings and original art nouveau lead lighting.
Wander through the now named Linton & Kay Gallery at the Old Perth Technical college and immerse yourself in the current exhibitions by three of WA’s leading artists; Helen Norton, Andy Quilty and Mel Brigg
Walk around the Moana Chamber which dates from the early 1900’s. Recently renovated by Architects Nic Brunsdon and Beth George it has now become a hub for small creative businesses. Built as a Café, it is great to see this wonderful space revitalised and again in use. It reminds us to ‘look up’ and see what beauties are beyond street level.
