Event applications now open

The City of Perth are now seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from cultural and heritage organisations/presenters to submit events for the next Heritage Perth Weekend 2021.

In its 11th year, Heritage Perth Weekend 2021 is an event that celebrates Perth City’s unique natural, cultural and built heritage. It aims to engender a sense of community pride in our cultural heritage and to promote its value in the contribution it makes to our community now and in the future. The event programme features history and heritage walks, talks, ‘behind the scenes’ tours of iconic and curious heritage buildings, children’s activities, exhibitions and experiences.

In 2021, the event is expanding to a three day event. ‘Family Friday’ on 16th April will have a special focus on activities that encourage children and families to explore, learn and engage with our City’s rich past and to encourage the next generation of cultural heritage champions.

Join us in celebrating Perth City’s rich and diverse cultural heritage from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th April 2021, with new and favourite history and heritage experiences throughout our city.
