The best way to get to know the history and the colourful yarns behind the buildings and the characters who created Perth, is to make sure you don’t miss this year’s Perth Heritage Days on 18/19 October. This year is the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I, and the 75th anniversary of World War II. With the impending celebrations in Albany in November, and Gallipoli in 2015, the theme for Perth Heritage Days 2014 is… ‘PERTH AT THE OUTBREAK OF WAR’

The Perth Heritage Days Programme was published as a “lift-out’ in the West Australian on Wednesday, 8th October. You can take a look at the programme by clicking here .
