Perth has an incredibly rich history going back over 40,000 years.   This fact possibly makes Perth the oldest city in the world with a continuous history of habitation. To help you discover this fascinating and long history, Heritage Perth has developed a number of innovative projects which provide a range of exciting and enjoyable activities that are not only informative but fun.

Our major annual event is Perth Heritage Days. Held each October, Heritage Days celebrate Perth’s history by offering a weekend of free activities for all the family, enabling them to explore the fascinating history and heritage of central Perth in an exciting and entertaining way.
